Andy, I agree that there were considerable differences on some engines going back a while, but the recent engines have been very much closer on tolerances. Now with new tooling for the T2, I am expecting that to be as good or better. There is much more performance to be found in other places, I can assure you, and these wouldn't be solved by machining! I do not dismiss anything that a competitor offers me in good faith, but let's give these T2s a chance and see what we have. As to the buy-back, I only write the rules. If a particular championship, or a specific group within a championship want to run them, they exist and you are free to use them. Talk to your series or championship organiser.
