Running a 'clubman' class along side 'Pro' (kart) class has to be the only way of doing it.
So the clubman class uses buy back system and Pro uses what ever they wish.
The disadvantage is some sprint series such as Warden Law use the Pro (i refuse to use ellite, its PRO'kart) and cluman class as a seperation between up and coming drivers and established Fast pro boys to give the clubmen a chance. But the top 3 clubman get promoted for the following season this would have to be taken away so that the buy back 'could' be run
I am 100% in favor of the Buy back as a seperate class, limit the number of buy backs per season or even make it a championship points penalty when a competitor buys a set of engines, and make it offical, where the driver buying has to apply by filling in a form at the end of the race to buy x set of engines then it is handed to the scruitineer who logs the time, and informs the other competitor that someone has applied to buy. This avoids paddock arguements.
There are two sets of people wanting 2 different things, so surely 2 seperate classes is the way forward?
