Kelvin is right in his estimation, The first year I do not think there were any "buy backs" but in the last two years there have been several, this year alone I know of two that were bought with the specific intention of using them when the drivers move up. I must re-inforce the point that it only works at Clubman level and both circuits run a full "Honda Cadet" class with no buy back. I should also mention that in that first year (in which I was running) there was a general reluctance to actually "put your money where your mouth is" as it was a small group of friends regularly racing together and enjoying themselves. I dont think anyone really wanted to sour the atmosphere or upset anyone. We all need to look forward to our regular club meetings and I for one would not want any ongoing animosity between parents/drivers to spoil our enjoyment.
