I can only comment on the Cadet system that has been used for the last 3 years at Bayford and Buckmore and has resulted in larger Clubman grids with new novices at nearly every round. It has provided a class that has seen some of the best and closest racing all year. Honda Cadets are alive and well in this part of the country and I am sure that having the buy back scheme has helped to encourage the youngsters into the sport and Dad's are not having to dig too deep to enable their kids to be competitive. BUT it is only at this level, as both clubs run a second grid of "Honda Cadets" in which it is easy to see the strong engines that are out there and naturally all the clubman drivers aspire to move into this "big boys" class.The link is to the current Buy Back regs used:
