Sounds good to me, the number of pro drivers has been poor the last 2 years. I agree the management let it get out of hand and have't moved enough people up through the ranks. I believe a similar format is used in MSA karting with no complaints. I think the format is ready for a shake up and will do it good. It will still allow new/beginner drivers a chance to have a good race against similar skill levels, but with no real reward to be gained from hanging around in the lower classes you have to try and do your best to move forward through the grid.
I assume the silverware will then run furthur down the grid in the 'A' final rather than the top 3, another good thing.
Its got my vote and very interested in returning again.
