Adam your recommendation for Teeside was spot on, both me and Dave now prefer it to PF. We have no axe to grind with PF and am sure we will return there again. Back to the tyre thing, If you say the Dunlop slick tyres are as good as equal to the Kartlines in performance wet and dry, then for me its simply a track/race organiser decision. In my opinion I dont think an extra £25 will put existing drivers off should the track want to go to Dunlop , although I'm sure they would like a say. One thing for sure whatever tyres are decided upon I will be there next year!
There are a few issues mensioned in these threads which need addressing before next year, so if anyone can pass on the word to the race organiser (Dave?) to have a look and maybe give some feedback. These are my suggestions;
1)Tyres
2)Scruteneering
3)Clarification of what is clubman/pro level.
(It appears that its going down the path of PF with clubman drivers who should be in pro, not good for the series. I would much prefer it be one big grid with the silverware going further down and novice plates and trophies for new drivers. Its a difficult one, with many points of view and ideas, but looking at PF they have tried to please everyone with 3 classes and to me it is'nt working).
4)Scales/weight calibration.
Cheers Andy
