Okay thanks for that.
The engines are bog standard, just been derestricted, valve springs changed to 140's and pulse pumped, nothing else. Cam Timing hasn't been touched, Bores haven't been touched, and exhausts haven't been debaffled. To be honest, I dont think the engines are at all special, they just seem like out of the box engines to me.
If I was to have them RPM prepared, and exhausts sorted, that may make a difference?
My son is consistent. He can do a couple of laps exactly the same time, e.g. 54.91, then 54.91 again, then 54.87, then 54.98 etc. Basically, hes relatively consistent, and when we raced before, he was roughly 1 second off the front runners.
So, before the kart is out again, I will have it welded, engines done, exhausts done, and look at tweaking the setup. Anything else?
Keep the replies coming!
