I agree with Peter this is supposed to be fun but there is a lot of us spending good money and some of people spending more than they can afford to be competitive buying good equipment to race legally but without the checks we could all save out money dip our tyres in softner or stick a 200 carb on and get to the front of the grid like we hear happens at another prokart grid!
I had one of my engines checked by Brian at Teesside a year or so ago and have to say if the checks are accurate (and ive no doubt they are) this would be the way forward surely as I had to remove very little from my motor for the checks to be done, this along with carb and exhaust checks would eliminate any paddock gossip and ensure we are all on level playing.
and Brian what would be the top cheats that would be hard to spot that would give a marked gain in straight line pace ?
200 head gasket ?
200 carb ?
and could a 200 carb run the same jets/tube as a 160 carb ?
