what strikes me with marshals and officials at kart meetings as apposed to car and bike meetings is the lack of training etc.....a lot of the time kart marshals are either members of the track crew or volenteers from the local area.....which is fine, but there is very often little or no training given, really thats what makes british marshals amongst the best in the world, years of experience and training, maybe the clubs need to take this on board sometimes and get some training sessions set up, or send them to the BMMC training sessions at a local circuit like donington./oulton etc

but do remember, no matter how good/bad they are you wouldnt be racing without them, and again i say theyre not the ones driving the kart or egging their son on to take another kid out...YOU ARE (not meaning anyone here litterally!)
