Cool Power, is simply a method of cheating legally, as it builds carbon much more quickly, which is a legal way of increasing compression. If engines were volume checked I'm pretty sure cool power would disappear over night. Although it also seems to have a more consistantly thin viscosity which means engines still go well even when it is cold and they are overcooled by the cooling system designed for a stationary engine.
If it is changed regularly it does not wear significantly quicker than a 'good' oil. However most respectable tuners in the States (where they really know these engines) would not touch it with a barge pole because when engines start producing decent amounts of power it's useless.
It would be a mistake for anyone to take the word of an importer when choosing a product, wouldn't it?
