Hi Martin, Congratulations for getting this off the ground. I do hope that karters will support this rather than simply saying they will if .... The "cheap" engine class - Bob Pope, Howard and RPM had agreed to produce a "standard" engine with a sealed bottom end and a GX200 head gasket for £300 + vat. This could be a class which is monitored through scrutineering OR they could be issued as hire engines , but I suspect that £25 per meeting is far too cheap.
Howard and the MS boys gain their advantages mainly because they are racing most weekends and acquiring experience on the kit which is used for the various Championships. However, the MSA 3 laps practice, 8 laps front grid, middle and back and a 12 lap final is "foreign" and unusual to most prokarters and should lead to some interesting and unexpected results. This Championship, in my opinion, will be more open than most.
