Must clarify though, this "Observer" was seen standing on the bank at the rear of the scrutineering hut and was clearly not one of the karters there.

Sad because there is a genuine atmosphere of trust in the paddock at 3S.
So its fine if you have a vehicle that you can lock up, but some teams just use a trailer with a waterproof cover - as I used to do.

The mobile phone & sat nav were easily replaced but the spares case that has taken literally years to accumalate is badly missed. We're doing the UK24 at the end of the month with hardly a spare nut, bolt or washer now....
