Be warned that these tyres don't last as long with the torque from the 4/S engine as they do with the 2/.We've been getting two meetings at a push, a lot of dad's are now putting on a new set per meeting and this is just in F6 !
Naturally there has been a big increase in grip for us, we had two tyres pull off of rims at Whilton and we weren't the only ones.
The seniors in F6 have generally been around 0.5 secs a lap quicker than us Juniors (on new age greens) this year, while running on reds.
We've been at 149kg (Junior Talko chassis) with the 20mm restrictor this year, if we were at 162kg,it would add a lot to our lap times.
Not sure the saving on the tyres next year will add up to much with the increase in VAT from Jan 1st ?
