Why be fixated on racing just karts with the same engine? I see nothing wrong with mixed grids so long as the performance is broadly similar. And that’s surely a good way to build; once you get a few more turning up you can also have ‘mini-races’ within a mixed grid. Plus it get’s you on track on a weekend, having fun in a moderately competitive environment rather than just “testing”/practice on a weekday. What’s the downside; why are so few attracted?
