Actually KF should never existed in the first place. When they decided to phase out 100cc they had the option of either:
125cc tag 2/ 250cc tag 4/
At the time a frenchman was head of the cik. BUT, all the manufacturers are ITALIAN! And none had any interest in building 4/. The result, all the existing manufacturers concentrated on 125cc versions of the existing engines, while new companies built 4/ for the upcoming changes (Suter, Technique Engineering, Oral etc).
Then before the class changes go through an Italian pops up as head on the cik and hey presto 4/ is dropped as an option immediatly.
With the new 2010 prices for KF ALL the 4/ are cheaper to buy, last longer and produce similar power to a KF2 straight out the box.
Also.. SAY NO TO ROTAX!!!! For the love of god its frickin awfull!
