We agree that there are more than one point of view.

However, you are assuming that each one has EQUAL validity. I don't think they do!

I am NOT saying:-

"trust me, I am an expert!"

What I did was to say WHY I think the "Hollow = Stiffer" argument is WRONG. I also gave a simple example of a 'thought-experiment' (multiple hollw axles inside each other) where any thinking person could 'imagine' the experiment and see that it simply doesn't work.

Of course, it is ENTIRELY up to you whom you believe but at least I gave REASONS for my view!

At the end of the day, all you can do is TEST the options: you can then use what works for YOU. However, don't assume that your final conclusion is FACT...... or else, all those people who believe in Homeopathy, Witchcraft, Crystal Healing, etc., etc., might be RIGHT..... which they clearly are NOT!
