Have to dissagree with the stiffness suggestion. And a hollow one will bend less easily than a solid one. Can't remember why as it is som 25 years sincei studied this stuff.

Also you can't compare tkm and a prokart, however, if you can adjust the kart set up for the different component and can afford the extra weight there is no reason that it shouldn't be as quick. Remember, however, axles are a critical component in chassis set up and you will need to test more to find out how it works and you won't be able to compare set up with other drivers.
