we all know vouchers are cheaper to give away than than cash and therefore a bit of a con on the part of the organisers.

when my lad came 5th in Mini in 2006 he got a decent cheque whereas a year later in Juniors when he got a seeded albeit lower number - a voucher for a new seat that didn't cover half the cost. And yes - we have bought a new seat only a few months earlier and I know teenage boys grow quickly but not that quickly.

If it's a choice between Łx cash or Łx minus in the value of vouchers than reckon most people would vote for the cash even if the total amount was less. That way you spend it on what you want and if you leave the sport for any reason then it still has currency.

Just my/our view!
