Trev, as normal, is talking bo11ox.

Yes H fitted the Kelgate for the 24 hours races but it wasn't any quicker in testing and the works kart is now fitted with the factory fitted MS supplied brake (albeit with a floating carrier). And one of the works drivers has already commented against it from what I can remember!!

The old Gold brake is bullet proof by all accounts.

And yes I have a kelgate and yes I like it and my preference would be to use it but the dissadvantage is weight - some additional 2Kgs with the full floating system. But if I didn't have one I wouldn't be spending the stupid, over inflated cash on a brake system that made absoultely naff all difference in performance. That would be a full season of tyres or engines rebuilt twice - know where I would rather spend my money!!
