I have a honda gx160 which i bought off ebay.

The engine was running fine when i bought it, but it was run with very little oil. So i stripped the whole engine down to check condition (looked ok) i changed the piston to flat top one (using the original rings)

Put the engine all back together using a new gasket set, but now it smokes like crazy especially when you rev the engine (with no load)

I haven't put it on a kart yet so haven't took it for a blast, to see if this would make any difference.

Has anyone got any ideas on this matter?

Cheers in advance
