The answer is yes it will improve lap times given that it does improve the performance of the engine due to better alignement of the crank, however, you would have to be a good driver to notice the difference.

I have no experience of actuals (and would imagine that this is simply one of many "tweeks") as my engines are MSA/2009 Honda reg legal but if the Teesside driver whom the link that my previous post referred to (since removed??) returns on legal engines you will be able to look at the relative times between him last month and this against his fellow competitors and see what difference it makes.
