Whilst circulating Tockwith one of my young guns failed to fully negotiate the "esses" and landed in an inverted heap on the tyres. The GX's were drizzled and subsequently flambe'd in some of Shells' finest 4* !!! Consequently I need two carbs, air boxes, HT leads etc, and I was hoping to replace some of the damaged parts with some from dead/dying engines I have laid about. Having looked at the various threads and websites, the race engines are UT1 engines (GCAFT 1524869 and 1323997), and am about to use the parts off three E specs (GC02-7768989, 7769223, 7769156). I also have a good but old K spec (GC02-5726131) as a spare race engine. The parts fit, but are they still race legal (WL non MSA competitor)
Regards
Ian
