It was a tyre wrecker but surely it only adds to the challenge trying to keep your tyres in good shape for the final. Not starting heat 1 is a good way to do that ;-) I found the circuit very physically demanding which was not what I wanted at all!!! But a really tough technical track to master. The chicane with the kerbs as they are does allow you to get a good run on people into the hairpin, and it was for me the best overtaking spot.

Really want to say thanks to Richard Lock and everyone at EP for putting on a top notch event which was definitely as much fun off the track as it was on it. Forget my win, I would still say that it was by far the best round of the season for the laugh we had with everyone from the moment we got there to the moment we left.
