As Chris says, a huge variation in tyre pressures. I probably run my tyres at a lower pressure than anyone at Bayford - 13 PSI hot all round on a warm day - lower if really hot. Everyone else seems to run them much higher.
The answer, as always on here, is TEST, TEST, TEST. Don't just do 5 laps at a time - get 10 or more laps in to really get some heat in them, drive as consistenly as possible, then check the lap times. My tyre pressures work for my chassis - 200 Solo (I held the lap record until yesterday!!), but might not work for others.
The other thing you have to consider is that certain tyre pressure will work with one set-up; change that set-up, and you'll find you need a different set of pressures.
Nothing is easy in this game!!
