As it will be a S/H kart, only buy a rolling chassis from a private seller, as you can never be sure of the engines, and some will off-load poor/old/illegal engines - a lesson I learned with the very first Kart I bought my son. Kart shops/dealerships tend to have reputations to uphold and they want repeat business so they should be a better bet for the full package IMHO
