AIXRO XR50 SERIES ---1ST ROUND--PFI--RESULTS+PHOTOS

We had a great 1st round at PFI this weekend with a great turnout considering it was the 1st round of a brand new championship (15 karts at the 1st round).

I've got to say, with ton of wankels all ticking over ready to go on the dummy grid, is quite some sound.

We had some great racing with literally nothing at all between all the engines performance wise and that is something that really is a hightlight of the class as it provided a very level playing field and that makes all the difference because the gearing is fixed per track so it just leaves things down to the driver and the setup of the kart.

We managed to get 15 at the 1st round which was really great but we are still looking for more people to join the series so that it can really grow into something special. If you are intrested in the series I'm sure you could organise a test with either Steve or Richard from AIM motorsport also you can come down to any of our meetings and have a talk so you can get up close and see what these machines are really capable of, our next round will be at three sisters on the 24th MAY.

If you dont want to buy a kart for the series i know that AIM also offer an arrive and drive option where you can either hire just the engine (per round) or a whole setup (kart + engine), for more details just contact AIM.
