Welcome to Bill Elliott. Mark Nicholson will continue to scrutineer along with Bill Elliott who has agreed to step into the gap left by Roland. Bill will be known to many of you as he has been regularly scrutineering at MSA meetings at Rowrah and at circuits in Scotland. We are pleased that Bill accepted the invitation to come to Warden Law.
Salt. Please remember to clean your kart properly if you raced last Sunday as there was some salt left on the circuit used to melt the ice.
Presentation Night The final placings have been agreed so it’s time for the presentation of the trophies to the top three in each class.
The venue chosen this year is the Chester le Street Cricket Club on Saturday 3rd January 09 starting at 7pm. As always there will be drinks, dinner then the presentation. Please contact KNE and speak to Margo or Lauren if you require tickets.
Circuit Improvements The new drain through Bryan’s Bends is now working well. The repairs to the workshop following the fire have been completed and we have now started repairing and painting the tyre barriers. The appearance of the circuit is much improved as a result.
Over the next month we will be decorating throughout the public areas of the centre. It is unlikely that we will need to close some sections of the circuit while we get the work done but it is always worth a phone call if you intend testing midweek.
