Problem is this creates a split class. Just watched the London cup and it was great to see 28 Honda Cadets. TV coverage was poor, however, how do you explain to Joe public that the guys at the front run in a different class to the buy-back teams.

Karting is already too fragmented with way too many classes - so to have 2 within the one class is simple stupid (unless you have numbers like PF Prokart series).
