You can't make con rods longer though or piston decks higher, you will still need to chase the best parts for the ultimate engine.

Although I understand the blueprinting argument, from my side of the fence the rules you have really are the best compromise.

The US regs are more comprehensive but due to there complexity would rule out the DIY engine builder.
