Jamie, My day was messed up from qualifying when the idiot driving the Lard kart didn't mount the transponder!!
What got me really worried is seeing you completely out of control in HP2 in heat 2 and causing carnage and then again in heat 3 with Mark on lap 2.
But you were not alone. Having been punted around alot I found myself at the back on several occassions on Sunday. 1st lap behaviour and driving standards aside I recall coming through the feild overtaking on the exit of turn one and being pushed on the grass on the right on approach to HP1. I have seen black flags for this sort of behaviour at other circuits but not even a warning! I know I can give as good as I get but last Sunday was too reminicient of my accident in 2003 to be regarded as fun. I seriously don't understand why they get the grids they do and while young Lard was out front with his own views on matters the true lard was experiencing something that was neither pleasant nor enjoyable. I have had less damage at the old days at Tockwith. Still the traders must love it!
ANyway this thread was supposed to be about this weekend at Warden Law. Weather is looking ok and (numpties included Mike!) full grids expected again. This year has perhaps seen a fall in numbers due, in the main, to the weather (as Dave Lui confirmed on Sunday) but the racing is as good as anywhere. Clean, in the main, but with race officials that are not scared to both warn and penalise poor driving standards. Bring it on (and keep it Lard).
