no mention of botched jobs here, and certainly no need to name and shame, what would that achieve???.....just premium priced motors worth e few tenths more, achieved by having a big pool of engines that you slave over, you rent out the best, and sometimes you sell the best rented ones for top money when someone says they must have it after renting it and being blown away with its performance compared to their own motors......nothing new or scandalous, its been happening for decades.

I believe the best selected ones have the best parts to start with, which is identified by dimensional (3D-CMM to micron level) / flow-bench / volume (cc)......or meticulously selecting the best parts by dynoing a lot of parts...... Crucially its been run for a while had a piston or two, and has carbon'd up the exhaust manifold to get it flowing nicely.

I'm sure there are some privateers that build their own X30 motors, and best of luck to them for having a try.
