finally found the details on the stroke of the TT31 it is 52mm. Compared to 53.8mm for a TT27. The barrel muff height is less on a TT31 compared to a TT27. Your engine could also be made up from parts of other engines, i.e a miss mash of TT27 and TT31 parts?
