Hi I was wondering if anyone could shed some light .

I have replaced a senior max barrel with a new 2016. The marking above carb flange is B. I've had a look online and the piston size for this barrel is a 53.99. I have fitted this piston and head back on. I am trying to set the squish gap. I had a .3mm base gasket on previous before changing barrel/piston. I have tried .4, .3mm base gaskets and a non rotax one which is light a bit of grease proof paper! The problem I have got is I cannot get the squish gap and lower 1.28mm with any of the base gaskets! I am using the piece of solder through the spark plug hole and turning engine with ratchet. Anyone have any ideas on where to get a gasket that may work??
