I'm no TKM expert.....but surely the weight gain is insignificant here......the main gain is the engine will spin-up a lot faster without the weighty inertia of the clutch......on the dyno I have found the clutch inertia to be a big performance differentiator. on track it was worth about 0.3 sect per lap in a cadet which only revs to 6000rpm.
