I think the question here is how effective this device is going to be. If it allows the average boyo to push start his own kart without lifting the back wheels,then great, and at not much more than a set of tyres including a new head for existing engines the cost is not unreasonable. However Tal-ko are not claiming this, merely that it makes push starting easier. Given that there will still be some crankcase compression and the restrictive nature of the device it seems unlikely that pushing the kart along will be as easy as it would be , for comparison ,with the spark plug out. It may well be that the excellent, but apparently out of production, Solo/ Titan clamp on easystart wheel would be a better bet for most people.
