Kai we all know you love the Aixro, but pistons are here to stay and have their advantages. Plus, i like the sound of my pistons bashing up and down... i have 2 remember ;)
With regards to the Open TAG, if the US and AUS have made it work, why can't we? A national championship with anything up to 30hp and set weights for different engines is perfect. It doesnt make it cheque book racing because every engine, driver and chassis combo has its advantages. Id certainly enter as you skinny sods running down at 160kg i can still give a good run for your money with the extra grunt from my 4 stroke lawnmower. Id like the variety in the aspect of being able to pick and choose from all the available karts and engines.
Rotax, x30, blue, 100cc, bilands, aixros and just about every engine out there on track at the same time would make for such an interesting series it'd be unreal. As long as the guy/s running it kept up to date with the class and kept the regulations up to date with regards to limitations and what not to keep it even, which once again, if they can do it, why can't we? It would certainly attract some attention... It would be a class for the people who actually want to go karting, and not just the people who need to use karting as the stepping stone to single seaters...
Just my thoughts, as much as everyone wants IKR, F100 to make it big, and open class is my hope for the future :) We can all dream....
