Basssound, If your looking to do a little racing, Fulbeck (LKRC & CA Karting)run a Non MSA series (they also do MSA) 3rd weekend of the month, Ł50 for the whole weekend - sat practice, sunday race. No licence, medical, etc required, just usual race wear, and the kart will be checked for safety, sealed engines for Rotax, they generally follow MSA rules without the costs. For senior they run max lights 163KG and fatmax 177KG, both have good grids. I'm south yorks too and my lad used to race there, I'm now planning to have a go in the fat max!
But if grids were good in TKM or blue I would run in that instead.
