When I get hauled in during a touring cars, (more civilised anyway) the Clerk
a )makes it clear that he/she is doing a fact finding exercise;
b) if a youth is involved, after the driver's statements, the Dad is asked if he has anything to add and told he has 1 minute only;
c) usually the Clerk simply listens to the Dad with an air of "what you say is irrelevant" - my favourite CoC has a 1 minute timer for Dads;
d) then we all troop out of the Clerk's office (sometimes only for 1 minute);
e) the clerk then calls us back in and says a judicial decision has been made and is already written and that we are free to take it to the stewards, but the decision is written and final and cannot now be changed and that he will now read it out; (He sometimes warns about interrupting and behaviour - usually depends on the characters involved!);
f)The decision is read out and finishes with the statement - there is no discussion on this matter and any disagreement about it can only now be dealt with by the Stewards;
g) Anyone kicking off about the decision is automatically referred to the stewards and they stomp on the culprit (usually only needs to be done once).

Had two very good judicials (P2 start line issue) and yellow flag issue at Kimmy

"Fact-Find" and "Judgment" doesn't seem to be so regimented in karting,

Can't say how Kimmy deals with contact as it's never **** seen!!!!!
