The clutch went due to the nut coming off for whatever reason when starting engine on dummy grid,,drum spun off,clutch expanded,two segments broke off,3rd one embedded itself into cases ,locked engine ,twisted crank.
Not due to standing starts MBKC dont do them,poss oversight/wrong torque on nut after swapping clutch drum from other engine.
Fixed by LOCAL IAME builder ,took hours to rebuild crank,re- align/ re-build motor, Ł50 charged plus new clutch,drum ,nut and bearing were recovered and re-used,best ever result in LGM at last meeting!!.

Guys for peace of mind "Check your NUTS regularly"!!! and those on the karts.
