Two young drivers just had one of their two heats ruined at S1 Larkhall in Iame. Three attempts to start the race and two karts oiled up. Surely they know the chances of the engine fouling is high after two false standing starts and they could have brought them in? Or when their hands were raised stopped it? IAME's do not sit and idle well, if standing starts are the way forward, and I'm not disputing the benefits, then a push start is the only answer so the engine can be stopped. It takes too long to grid them and three attempts is tempting fate. It's a very expensive problem for those lads and their families, lots of points lost in a close championship through no fault of their own. So hard on those little guys.
