For virtually the cost of an OTK front "BUMPER" every driver could have a RACEIVER" earpiece,every race series in the US has them and since being introduced on UK oval tracks in Legends (also circuit racing)Mascars and Hot Rods,driving standards have improved in a sport where "Rubbing is Racing" and accepted (MSA have no involvment).
The Race Director (C of C) IS GOD,he is able to speak to every driver and control rolling starts/speeds,bad driving during the race,mechanical issues instant Yellow/Red flag situations etc,(not driving round with a chrome scythe for 6 laps ("didn't see the mechanical flag ) if he isnt happy on the rolling lap you dont start or you have to pull off into the middle during the race and No points for driving standards he is not happy with like loading/pushing .
Also anyone who buys one, spectators teams etc can also listen in,however it is a ONE way communication system ,no back chat like "Tough Luck" fom Vettel wannabies !
Put the COC up a tower in the middle of the track with 360 view,how from the infield at some tracks can a 5'8" Clerk or an Observer see whats going on behind the tyre walls ,or the C of C even be aware of whats going on when standing at the catering facility talking Motorsport during a race!!!!
These were offered to the MSA for trial 6 months ago still NO REPLY
