I've been told by a good few experienced people in karting who have run Tony Karts for a number of years and have said that we'd would be on our least our third or possible forth chassis by now (if we'd been running a OTK)Tony Kart based on the amount of racing we've done in the last 12 months. As previously stated on threads the chassis are 'very soft' for them to work and therefore they need to be constantly checked on a jig for straighness!! Our race team used to run Tony Karts and used to have to check there's on a daily basis during the course of a race weekend and would often end up hav'in to straighten them!! constantly.
We're currently running a Gillard TG14 chassis which I believe is a front end running chassis and is excellent value for money including the cost of replacement parts. Our chassis is exceptionally strong and has not deflected by more than 1mm in 14 months of hard racing from new.
