Spot on. My lad was quicker in the wet by comparison than in the dry, to the point where he won a race with a front flat! finger pointing and 'cheating' was alluded to. We just set up the kart as it should be and he drove differently. My screen saver photo is a brilliant shot of my lad in the wet winning in a wet race having just passed on the last lap with a totally different driving style and kart attitude to the lad behind and my lads fastest lap was 4 tenths quicker just in the one last lap when he got past. 20 on the grid in that race, questions were asked at to why he was so quick when others had some very special engines, answer was kart set up and driver are even more important in the wet, engine comes low down on the list. We used to pray for rain!!!!
