That's about what I said and just about what we managed to do.

So don't moan at or knock the loaded parents and wannabee kids, feel sorry for them, they have way further to fall. They'll get sucked further and further in, but sooner or later everyone arrives at point they can't afford and then reality sets in.

For what it's worth, my own kids learned a huge amount from karting and because of that experience one of them will be a sporting professional, but not in motorsport of course.
