Regarding last nights programme of this years TKM Festival, can I just say I thought the programme was very well compiled with some excellent film footage and overall portrayed karting in a very positive manner.
I know Alan has 'taken it on the chin' on this site previously for some of the, shall we say, 'poorer' earlier productions, but if this one is a sign of the way things are moving, then I for one consider it to be definitely going in the right direction and am looking forward to future programmes!
I found the camera angles much better in this show than others I have seen, with more of a 'flowing' nature as the lap progressed and the commentary team did an excellent job - personally, I find it works very well with the blend of Alan and Jake and they coped with that magical Junior final commendably ........any newcomers watching that with the enthusiastic commentary going on could not have failed to have been excited and must have got the desire to want to be part of it ..........if they didn't then they should consider tiddleywinks!!!
There was of course the usual sound 'sync' issues, but that happens regularly with Motors TV so there is no blame accorded there, and I found it didn't affect the footage of the racing. Anyway, I personally find it quite amusing when the syncing (is that the right term??) gets that far apart!!!!!
So, well done to the production team and well done to the competitors for such enthralling action - see you all agin next year!
