Kezz thanks for your angry comment thats nice!
Maybe its this attitude that is causing your many problems?
I did not say I was spectacular,
BUT: if you really have gone through "Hundreds" of starters, then you must be "SPECTACULAR" in the way you pull it
You have said that you have done 22 hours on a piston, So where is the problem?
Freshy seems to be getting on ok on your motor, so it must be things you are doing, directly or indirectly?
To try and help:
Is it good sometimes, then other times bad? If yes try and work out if there is a common denominator, ie fuel from a certain garage, oil from a certain batch, plugs etc etc, your problems could be as easy as a bad batch of oil or bad fuel if you use the same garage / supplier, etc?
If you really have had all these problems, then go back to your builder, there must be a reason for your many troubles, listen to there experience,
if the iame was that bad it would be much published.
Jon Mills is very understanding and wants to grow the class, call him with you problems, he will be able to help you.
There is a strong possibility that a new starter mechanism is being sorted, that should solve the main problem with the iame.
The iame is great and is the future, with X30 coming out the MSA are fully behind it for the future at S1 and that will filter to club level, this class can only grow and flourish
Hope that helps.
