Rotax clutch nut

The info I have about the torque setting for the M10 clutch retaining nut is 35nm for new style, 60nm for old style. I'm bit concerned why theres such a big difference for the same nut. Is my info correct?
I'm sure most just give it a good nip with the spanner anyway. Until i get a bit more familiar with these engines I thought I'd play it safe and work to the book. Just seemed a bit odd.
