You defeat your argument about different sizes and weights of kids. One of the reasons the UK cadet class is so strong compared to the black hole elsewhere in Europe is the big overlap in age for choice of class. You can run to 13 in cadet or move up at 10. Also the choice of classes and engines that are more or less matched to run as cadet libre.
Super cadet basically copied a 'failed' class elsewhere, the only people who liked it are those taking the money from the rich punters. In France the equivalent class all but wiped kids karting out, you had a near miss in the UK.
It's funny how the grass is always greener, somebody with a small child hoping for super cadet to take off when you have brilliant cadet racing available, make the most of it.
