I've been building my Rotax senior kart back up after 4 years rest in the garage, I've fitted the new type clutch and gears and started it up for the first time today. It seems to run with no problems but I have noticed a rattling/clicking type sound from the engine. Instantly I thought it may be the new steel gear circlip had come loose so checked but everything was ok, the holes all line up correctly on the gears and they rotated freely.
Anyone any ideas before I take it to the track as I want to avoid a costly rebuild should it be somethIng serious.
Cheers
