Hi all,

Myself and a mate have bought a tkm extreme kart. On the first outing with the kart, it did 3 laps before cutting out. Took spark plug out to find no spark- even when wheel turned quickly via rope. Check all wires and connections (all fine), then took off spade ends and tried just with bare wires. Still nothing. Sent engine off. Got it back with new spade connectors on saying engine is now fine and it was just down to spade connectors?!
So, took it out again yesterday. Did 5 laps before it cuts out again. Again, no spark! So, we did everything above and put new spade connectors on. Still no spark.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?!

We have put a voltmeter (getting digital tonight) on spade ends and getting a reading there (so startor is producing power). Tried to get reading from where ht lead goes into (put positive lead in there and earthed the negative- is this correct way to get reading for ht?) and got nothing on the analogue voltmeter.

Any info much appreciated.
